Refund Policy
Classes and Courses
- Online payment for classes must be received 3 hours prior to the scheduled class date to ensure your seat.
- Cancellations later than 4 hour prior to class start time will not be refunded.
- Cancellations earlier than 4 hour prior to class start time will receive a credit towards a future class based on availability and similar cost.
- Missed classes without the appropriate notice will be charged as if attended.
- If you are unable to attend a Program or Course due to circumstances out of your control (determined on a case-by-case basis by Yoga West administration), we can offer you a refund if you notify us prior to your session start date. However we do charge a 30% cancellation fee. This cancellation fee may be avoided if you opt for a service credit instead of a refund.
- Multi Class Passes are not refundable after purchase.
Monthly Recurring Passes
- Monthly recurring passes are 12 monthly payments of £106
- There is a no minimum term. Payments can be stopped at any time by emailing or telephoning the studio at least 14 days before the date the next payment is due.
Products, Clothing and Equipment
- Defective products may be returned within 14 days for a refund.
- Products that are defective or damaged upon purchase may be returned immediately for exchange.
- Some products may need to be shipped directly to the manufacturer.
- This will be stated on the product package or
instruction insert. Should you be unsure if this is the case, please contact us.
TEACHER TRAINING
1 OUR CONTRACT WITH YOU
1.1 These terms will become binding on you and us when we confirm your place on the course, which we will confirm in writing to you. At this point a contract will come into existence between you and us.
1.2 When you submit your booking this does not mean we have accepted your booking. Our acceptance of the booking will take place as described on clause 1.1. If we are unable to provide the course, We will inform you of this and will not process the booking.
2 PRICE AND PAYMENT PLANS
2.1 The price of the course will be set out in your booking. Our prices may change at any time, but price changes will not affect a Booking that we have confirmed with you.
2.2 We require a £500 non-refundable payment to secure your booking.
2.3 If you choose to pay by instalments then the instalments are due in cleared funds on or before the dates set out in the booking.
2.4 All fees must be paid 2 weeks prior to the first day of training.
2.5 If you do not pay any payment due to Us by the due date for payment, we may charge interest to you on the overdue amount at the rate of 7% a year above the base lending rate of Lloyds Bank. This interest shall accrue on a daily basis from the due date until the date of actual payment of the overdue amount, whether before or after judgment. You must pay us interest together with any overdue amount.
2.6 Once we have accepted your booking for the course as set out in clause 1.1 then all payments are due in accordance with the payment schedule regardless or whether you attend all or any part of the course.
3 CANCELLATION
3.1 You may only cancel the booking before it has been accepted. Once the booking has been accepted you wont be eligible for a refund.
3.2 Cancellations made after booking are not refundable.
3.3 If we have to cancel or delay this training due to a cancellation of the venue or insufficient bookings we will not be liable or responsible but you will be eligible for a full refund if you no longer wish us to provide you with this training.
3.4 if we have to cancel or delay this training due to an event of force majeure (including but not limited to war, riots, fire, flood, hurricane, typhoon, earthquake, lightning, explosion, strikes, lockouts, slowdowns, epidemic, illness, prolonged shortage of energy supplies or an act of state or governmental action prohibiting or impeding any party from performing its respective obligations) we will not be liable or responsible and reserve the right to offer you a place on a future training in lieu of a refund.
3.5 We are unable to guarantee availability of the venue of the course set out in the booking. This is because we hire appropriate venues according to course being offered. We rely on third parties to ensure the venue is accessible and ready for use in accordance with the standards we require. If we decide to relocate the course venue we will notify you of our alternative course location, which will be within a 5 mile radius of the venue set out in the booking.
4 CHANGES TO THE SCHEDULE
4.1 We reserve the rights to make reasonable changes to the schedule to the teacher training once the schedule has been published provides this does not unreasonably inconvenience attendees. Where a change does unreasonably inconvenience students, we reserve the right to offer attendees private sessions with a teacher training teacher In lieu of attending that session.
5 MISSING A SESSION
We expect students to attend 90% of sessions. If you can’t make 90% then speak to us. If it’s a close thing it may be that we can schedule a private session with one of the teacher training instructors but it may also be that we decide that it would be best to delay attending the teacher training until you find a time when you are better able to commit.
5.1 Private lessons may be scheduled with one of the course teachers to cover missed classes at an additional cost of £90 per hour. If a group class is available as a deferral, that make-up class will cost £25 per hour.
5.1 Private lessons for missed sessions are offered only at the discretion of the training provider and will be decided by the teacher-training director on a case-by-case basis. No teaching certification will be offered until all course hours have been completed.
6 PREGNANCY AND INJURY TERMS
6.1 You may be required to complete a medical declaration prior to the commencement of the course. The declaration will confirm that you are in good health and there are no medical reasons why you should not partake in a yoga/fitness course.
6.2 You must notify us of any medical issues prior to the course commencement date, which may rise after the completion of the medical declaration and the provisions of clause 6.1.
7 IF YOU DO NOT COMPLETE THE COURSE
7.1 If you do not complete the course we will be unable to give you a certificate or graduate you from the training and your course fees for the remainder of the training are still due.
8 EXAMINATION
8.1. We reserve the right to issue a conditional pass to students who the teaching faculty believe not to have achieved sufficient level of proficiency by the end of the training. A conditional pass requires students to undertake further work in specific areas before a non-conditional (full) pass is awarded. Students are not eligible to teach until they receive a non-conditional (full) pass. The decision on whether to issue a non-conditional (full) or conditional pass is at the complete discretion of the teacher-training faculty.
9 AUTHORIZATION
9.1 Our training will be authorised and approved by the Yoga Alliance governing body. Should Yoga Alliance cease to exist or rescind our authorization we will either organise authorisation from another organisation or cease to offer this teacher training programme and refund any payments taken for the training.
9.2 You may use the skills you acquire on the course for the purpose of providing yoga training to members of the public but you may not use the course content for the purposes of training other potential yoga trainers looking to acquire yoga-teaching skills.
10 PHOTOGRAPHY AND PERSONAL INFORMATION
10.1 We will use the personal information you provide to us to:
Provide the training
Process your payment for the training
Inform you about similar products or trainings that we provide, but you may stop receiving these at any time by contacting us.
10.2 We reserve the right to photograph or film during the training and to use these images for our website and marketing purposes.
11 ATTENDANCE TO YOGA WEST
11.1 Current holders of monthly memberships and annual memberships will be eligible for a 50% discount for the period while the training takes place.
11.1 A special unlimited four-month yoga pass offer will be available to all training students for the duration of the training. This will cost £250. The equivalent pass would cost £500.

DISCOUNTS
Concessions 33% off our Full Monthly Membership are available for under 30s, recipients of Universal Credit, emergency service and NHS staff. Please contact a studio directly to purchase at our concessionary rate. Formal proof of age or proof of receipt of unemployment benefit required for eligibility and discount.
Studio Hire
Studio hire is only confirmed once appropriate hire payment is made.
Hirers can cancel up to a week before their event and receive a full refund
Hirers can cancel with less than a week but more than 2 days before their event and receive a studio credit for use on a future bookings
All cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice will forfeit a 100% booking fee
